Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Dovely ("the Service", "we", "us") is operated jointly by KraftPixel Digital Solutions Pvt Ltd and DigitalCampfire Ventures LLP, both with their registered place of business at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service is an assistive tool

Dovely is software that helps couples plan a wedding — guest lists, RSVP collection, WhatsApp message drafting, registry, seating, etc. It is not a substitute for direct contact with your guests. Delivery of WhatsApp messages, payment status updates, RSVP submissions, calendar invites, and other automations may fail at any time due to third-party outages, platform-policy changes, network issues, or guest-side restrictions.

You are responsible for keeping your own backups (export your guest list and RSVP data regularly from the admin dashboard) and for running manual reminder workflows for any time-critical communication. Treat Dovely's automations as best-effort assistance, not as guaranteed delivery.

3. Your account & content

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and use the Service only in compliance with applicable Indian laws, the WhatsApp Business Platform policies, and our acceptable-use rules below. You retain ownership of the content you upload (guest list, photos, messages); you grant us a limited licence to host, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Send unsolicited bulk messages to people who have not consented to receive your wedding communications.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or violates anyone's privacy.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service to impersonate any other person or organisation.

5. Subscription, wallet & billing

Some features (e.g. WhatsApp delivery, premium templates) consume wallet balance or require a paid subscription. Pricing shown at the time of purchase is final and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Wallet balance is non-transferable and has no cash value.

6. Refund policy

The maximum refund payable under any circumstance is limited to the total amount you have actually paid to us. Refund requests must be raised within thirty (30) days of the original payment by writing to support@dovely.host with your order reference. No refunds will be issued after 30 days, for any reason. Refunds, when granted, are processed back to the original payment method via our payment processor and may take 5–10 business days to reflect.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any specific message will be delivered to any specific guest at any specific time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have actually paid us in the trailing twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of guests, missed RSVPs, photographs, vendor bookings, opportunity, goodwill, or data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KraftPixel Digital Solutions Pvt Ltd, DigitalCampfire Ventures LLP, their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) the content you upload or transmit through the Service, including any guest list and any messages you send to your guests; (c) your violation of these Terms or of any applicable law; and (d) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual-property, privacy, or telecommunications-marketing rights.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, abuse the platform, or if required by a court order or applicable law. You may stop using the Service at any time; refund eligibility is governed by section 6 above.

11. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-product banner. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.
